Welcome To Hollydogs Greyhound Adoption

xmas oh2

Hollydogs Greyhound Adoption is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization created in 1995 to save retired racing greyhounds that otherwise would have been destroyed. We are located in South Florida. Our program rescues, treats, rehabilitates, socializes and trains these amazing dogs for their new life as loving family members. We do not euthanize any dog. We provide support for life to those families that open their hearts to a Greyhound. Hollydogs educates the community about the availability of Greyhounds, their plight and their nature as well as promoting responsible dog ownership and the vital importance of spaying and neutering all pets. We are entirely supported by volunteers and donations.

Senior Greyhounds need A FOREVER HOME

 ”Raymond”

The name originally from Latin was used by in Germany, then France and finally in England, meaning “Protector”, “Wise Protector”, and “Mighty”.

Raymond is 7 years young which is barely a “senior”. He was in a home for several years. Sadly, his owner could no longer care for him properly. He is a very handsome fawn boy with the classic white face of those with experience. Raymond loves to play with stuff toys. He is a medium sized boy who is muscular, still strong and does have several scars like many retired greyhounds Raymond would make a wonderful addition to any home. He does not get along with cats. Please consider bringing Raymond to his new FOREVER HOME. The adoption fee is waved for all those that have adopted from Hollydogs in the past.

Andy

Andy, a diminutive version of Andrew, derived from the greek name Andreas, meaning “Man”.

Who can resist that smiling beautiful face? Andy is now 10 with a birthday coming in May, making him 11. He was in a loving home for 6 years with his brother Hank (Below). His family could no longer take care of him or Hank. His is a slim boy with fur like velvet. He can be a picky eater at times. He needs a doting Mom or Dad that is will willing to spoil him. He gets along with cats and larger dogs.
